Job Description

Position Function:
This role involves designing, building, modifying, testing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2+ customizations related to EDI integrations and E-Commerce applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Requirements, Analysis, & Design:
Gather and analyze user requirements.
Determine appropriate toolsets and design components for Oracle E-Business Suite customizations.

2. Technical Development:
Develop Oracle Forms, APEX Forms, Oracle Reports, and PL/SQL Packages.
Integrate applications using back-end services and databases.
Use source code version control systems for configuration management.

3. Testing & Deployment:
Create and execute unit, system integration, and production deployment tests.
Follow change management procedures for code deployment.
Support software upgrades and patching tasks by testing and making necessary adjustments.

4. Monitoring & Maintenance:
Respond to alerts, analyze issues, and monitor system health.
Ensure system uptime and adherence to service level objectives.

5. Support:
Manage customer support tickets and requests.
Assist project, development, security, and operations teams as needed.

6. Troubleshooting:
Resolve development and production issues in collaboration with administrators.
Perform root cause analysis and provide service restoration support.

7. Documentation:
Create project documentation including design, testing, installation, and troubleshooting guides.

8. Best Practices:
Stay updated with industry trends and recommend best practices to project teams.

Skills and Experience Requirements:
4+ years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 customizations.
Proficiency in Oracle tools such as Oracle Forms, APEX, Oracle Reports, and PL/SQL.
Expertise in Oracle Application Object Library and EBS customizations.
Strong knowledge of Order to Cash and Procure to Pay tables, workflows, and concurrent processes.
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
Experience with EDI documents (850, 856, 870, 810).
Working knowledge of Oracle B2B and Oracle SOA (preferred).

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
