Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Android developers to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve high-quality Android applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Design, and Backend Engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
Architect robust and scalable Android application architectures, ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices, and ensure their adoption within the team.
Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage, automate testing processes, and maintain code quality through code reviews and other quality gates.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering deployment and post-launch support.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Android application development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in Java & Kotlin programming languages, with a deep understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools.
Experience with software architecture patterns such as MVP, MVVM, or Clean Architecture, and familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, material design guidelines, and performance optimization techniques.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous
integration/delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bitrise).
